Fr. Edmond Ertzbischoff was born in Highland Park, was ordained in 1976 after studies at Sacred Heart Seminary, Detroit and St. John Seminary, Plymouth. He served as a parochial vicar at St. Gerard, Lansing and St. Thomas the Apostle, Ann Arbor. He was pastor of St. Joseph Shrine, Brooklyn and served at St. John the Baptist, Ypsilanti since June, 1988 and effective July 1, 2009 is pastor of St. Joseph, Ypsilanti.
